<< October 22:
Another 180 dessert at the Jack! However, not a
*perfect* 6-judge 180, so it landed in fourth place.
Nevertheless, we're very pleased to have another little Jack
statue come home with us, to join his brothers.

Happy New Year!
"Start out as you
mean to go on" -- and Rhythm 'n QUE did just that
at
the second Tom's Farm contest in Wildomar, CA on New Year's
Day.
RnQ turned in
1st Ribs, 2nd Pork and 1st Brisket (with a score of 177!)
to rack up a 22-point margin and start out 2011 as Grand
Champion.
That's right, for a few shining moments we're the #1 team in
BBQ for 2011 -- at least until Lakeland rolls around!

Year's End 2010
|
|

There they are, our own
little lineup of monoliths, the awards for KCBS
Team of the Year categories. Rhythm 'n QUE finished in
7th place Overall
among a field of over 4000 scored teams, and 10th in
chicken, 7th in ribs,
7th in pork and 15th in brisket. There aren't many teams in the country that
have a matched set of five of
these this year, and we're quite proud of ours.

Here's the collection from
the 2010 season, or at least a good part of it.

Welcome
to the online home of RHYTHM 'N QUE !
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, RHYTHM 'N QUE ventures from the
Ninth Ring of Hell into BBQ heaven by beating a nine-state path to
KCBS-sanctioned BBQ contests -- Arizona, Nevada, California, New
Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Oklahoma and Tennessee in 2010.
With three full seasons of competition now
behind us,
we've gone up against the big boys and their fancy
top-dollar rigs
with our backyard equipment and homemade rubs, and
brought home some hardware and great
memories.
Browse around, follow some links, learn a little, even email us
(but be prepared to hear far more about BBQ than you ever really
wanted to know).
Thanks,
Dad.
